Living at the Source of the Wuhle—An Explanation of the Planning Process!
KIM
We at KIM were well aware of our responsibility. In Ahrensfelde—a place that proudly calls itself a “village”—planning such a large space with a variety of housing types is a challenge. We were grateful that, from the very beginning, the goal was not to create yet another single-family home development. With a green corridor, a neighborhood square, a neighborhood with minimal car traffic overall, and many other green solutions, we’re creating a new version of the garden city in the village of Ahrensfelde—and all of this right next to a high school that Ahrensfelde has long been waiting for. In August, we received planning approval, and we’d like to thank our partners at CKSA, Graft and Nöfer and to everyone in the Ahrensfelde community who has placed their trust in us.
